ECAD Library & Component Engineering

Clean libraries.
Verified parts.
Zero surprises on the BOM.

Electrondux is Pranay Sai Gurram's ECAD library and component engineering practice — schematic symbols, PCB footprints, 3D models, and BOM validation built to production standard, so your design team never has to re-check a part twice.

About

Built by an engineer who lives in the library.

Not a generic design shop — a specialist practice focused entirely on the parts layer of your PCB workflow.

I'm Pranay Sai Gurram, an ECAD librarian and component engineer. My work sits at the point where a datasheet becomes a usable, trustworthy part in your design system — the symbol, the footprint, the 3D body, and the record that ties it all to a real, sourceable component.

I work directly with hardware and design teams to build and maintain component libraries, validate AVL/BOM data, qualify alternates, and manage part obsolescence — so engineers can trust every part they drop onto a schematic or a board, and procurement never gets a surprise at release.

Based in Hyderabad, Telangana, working with teams anywhere.

What Electrondux delivers.

Each line is a discrete, standalone engagement — engage one, or the full stack.
SYM1

Schematic Symbol Creation

IEC/ANSI-compliant symbols built to your library standard, with correct pin mapping, electrical types, and naming conventions verified against the source datasheet.

FP1

PCB Footprint Development

IPC-compliant land patterns for any package — from passives to fine-pitch BGAs — with courtyard, silkscreen, and assembly layers built to your fab and CM requirements.

3D1

3D Model Creation

STEP-accurate mechanical models for enclosure fit-checks and collision detection, matched precisely to package dimensions.

DB1

Component Database Management

Structured, de-duplicated part libraries in Altium, Cadence Allegro, or OnePDM — clean parametrics, consistent naming, and audit-ready records.

QA1

AVL/BOM Validation

Line-by-line validation of approved vendor lists and bills of material against real, sourceable, in-production parts before release.

LC1

Obsolescence & Lifecycle Management

Proactive EOL/PCN monitoring so end-of-life risk on a part is flagged and resolved long before it becomes a production stoppage.

AL1

Alternate Part Qualification

Form-fit-function comparisons and cross-reference research to qualify drop-in or near-drop-in alternates for constrained or end-of-life components.

DS1

Datasheet Analysis & Component Research

Deep-read datasheets and parametric data to confirm a part actually meets your design's electrical, thermal, and mechanical requirements before it's specified.

Get in touch

Need ECAD library or component engineering support?

Whether it's a single part, a full library migration, or ongoing AVL/BOM support, I'm happy to talk through the scope.

Good first messages to send
  • "We need a set of footprints/symbols built for an upcoming release."
  • "Our BOM needs AVL validation before we go to production."
  • "We have EOL parts and need qualified alternates."
  • "We're scaling and need ongoing library support."
